Note to Self (No 1)…

We have to keep reminding ourselves the obvious… not all people are good, not everyone has good intentions. Sometimes, we get carried away by what seems familiar to us or by a feature of their character that we lack as Jung puts it (e.g. an introvert admires and matches with an extrovert and vice versa).

But, when you are going out with somebody, heart and logic have to be on a par with each other. Because many people out there are excellent performers and can guise and take whichever form they wish. So, beware of the sheep skinned wolves, the sweet smiles, and the sweet-talkers. As the saying goes:

“As you’re pretty, so be wise!

Wolves may lurk in every guise!

Now, as then, it’s simple truth,

sweetest tongue has sharpest tooth!”
